Overview

Vitalis is a UX/UI and icon design project focused on creating a clear, approachable, and cohesive digital experience. The project aimed to balance usability and visual warmth, using thoughtful interaction design and a custom icon system to support clarity and ease of use.

Project Goal

The primary goal of Vitalis was to design an intuitive user experience supported by a consistent interface and meaningful iconography. The product needed to feel trustworthy, modern, and easy to navigate, with visual elements reinforcing understanding rather than adding complexity.

Role & Services

  • UX Design

  • UI Design

  • Icon Design

I led the design process across UX exploration, interface design, and the creation of a custom icon system.

Challenges

  • Structuring complex information into clear, digestible flows

  • Designing icons that enhance usability without visual noise

  • Maintaining consistency across screens and interaction states

Research & Discovery

The project began with user and product research to identify core needs, expectations, and pain points. Insights from this phase informed decisions around information hierarchy, navigation, and the role of icons within the interface.

UX Process

User flows and wireframes were created to define key journeys and interactions. The focus was on reducing friction, improving readability, and ensuring that every interaction feels natural and purposeful.

UI Design

The interface design emphasized clarity and approachability through a balanced layout, thoughtful spacing, and a refined color palette. Visual hierarchy was carefully applied to guide users through the experience while keeping the interface calm and focused.

Icon Design

A custom icon set was designed to support navigation and reinforce meaning across the product. Icons were built with consistent geometry and stroke weights, ensuring clarity at multiple sizes and seamless integration with the UI.

Final Outcome

The final design delivers a cohesive and user-centered product experience where UX, UI, and iconography work together seamlessly. Vitalis demonstrates how intentional design decisions can create interfaces that feel both functional and inviting.

Key Takeaways

  • Icons are most effective when they support, not replace, clarity

  • Consistent UX patterns build confidence and trust

  • Simplicity enhances usability and long-term scalability

Vitalis showcases the value of combining strong UX/UI foundations with purposeful icon design to create intuitive and human-centered digital products.
